Imagination In Action Camps
Check out new 2022 Camp Dates
Campers will enjoy classic fairy tales with The Other Mother Goose. They will then be introduced to the same stories with some fun alternative story lines. Each day will include a specific story, crafts, snack and time for campers to get active and do a dramatic retelling of the story.
Go on a journey with The Other Mother Goose to magical places filled with mystery and wonder! Campers will enjoy journey-themed tales with “The Other Mother Goose” including: Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, Robin Hood and The Lost Unicorn. Each day will include a specific story, crafts, snack and time for campers to get active and do dramatic retelling of the stories.
July 11-15 1-4 pm Mt Pleasant Recreation Park West
Take a trip into the past and return to Medieval Times. Campers will enjoy stories filled with dragons, knights and princesses including: The Paperbag Princess, The Knight and the Dragon, The 12 Dancing Princesses, The Princess and the 3 Knights and Knights of the Round Table, . Each day will include a specific story, crafts, snack and time for campers to get active and do dramatic retelling of the stories.
June 13-16 1-4 pm Mt Pleasant Recreation Darby
The Other Mother Goose is back with some more royal tales for children to enjoy. Each day will begin with a new royal tale told by The Other Mother Goose including: Beauty and the Beast, The Snow Queen, The Prince and the Pauper, Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty. Followed by crafts, snack and time for campers to get active and do dramatic retelling of the stories. For this camp we will have time for campers to dress up in clothes from this time period. Costumes will be provided but highly encouraged to come dressed appropriately or bring any “royal” props for a fun and interactive day.

Campers will enjoy royal-themed tales involving castles, princes and princesses with The Other Mother Goose. Each day will include a specific story, crafts, snack and time for kids to get active and do a dramatic retelling of the story. For this camp we will have time for campers to dress up in clothes from this time period. Some costumes will be provided, but campers are highly encouraged to come dressed appropiately or bring any "royal" props.
August 1-5 1-4 pm Mt Pleasant Recreation Jones
Campers will enjoy magical fairy tales during these 5 days with “The Other Mother Goose” including: Hansel and Gretel, Aladdin, The Sword and the Stone, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Rapunzel. Each day will include a specific story, crafts, snack and time for campers to get active and do dramatic retelling of the stories.
